ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): Practical Applications for BCBAs (1.0 CEUs)

Learn how to leverage the power of ACT techniques for your clients, their caregivers and yourself.

When applied to ABA, ACT acts as a complementary approach that helps address internal thoughts and feelings (considered "private events" in ABA) by promoting psychological flexibility, allowing individuals to accept their emotions while still taking action towards valued goals, effectively bridging the gap between observable behaviors and internal experiences.
