Exploring Reinforcement in Project Management & Delivery
Whether you're introducing a new clinical program, rolling out staff training, implementing a new scheduling system, or leading an organizational initiative, successful project implementation depends on more than careful planning—it depends on reinforcing the behaviors that move projects forward.
Successful projects depend on more than careful planning—they depend on keeping people motivated throughout the process. This course explores how behavior analytic principles of reinforcement can be applied to project management to improve team engagement, decision-making, and project outcomes.
Participants will examine the difference between preference assessments and reinforcer assessments and learn why understanding what truly motivates individuals is critical to successful project delivery. Using two widely used project management approaches—Waterfall and Agile—the course demonstrates how the timing, frequency, and delivery of reinforcement can influence project momentum, stakeholder engagement, and overall success.
