Individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) frequently have difficulty understanding, recalling, and using verbal information including organizing their environments and thoughts and in processing auditory stimuli. Visual supports are used to aid children with autism to maintain attention, understand spoken language, and sequence and organize their environments.

Sara L. Stern is a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of NY. Completing her coursework through Penn State University, she has been a BCBA for close to 12 years, and has utilized her expertise and experience in many varied roles. Sara L. has been clinical director and provided services for a number of agencies, and is called upon to consult regularly. She presents trainings and webinars on a variety of topics, and currently lectures as an adjunct professor at Manhattanville’s ABA program as well as for the College of Mount St Vincent’s Special Ed Masters program. Sara L. has provided supervision for those going for their BCBA and provides mentorship to new BCBAs as well.
