Rona Levine has been working with special needs children, support staff and families since the 1980's. As a special education teacher, she taught in self contained classrooms in Brooklyn, Westchester and Ulster County, N.Y. She provided early intervention and preschool special education services for 18 of those years in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties, N.Y. Rona received her BCBA certification in 2014 and provided home-based ABA services from 2015 to 2017. Currently, she provides BCBA services in a school district in CT. In conjunction with her work as a special education teacher and BCBA, Rona is a certified yoga teacher, Reiki Master and is trained in Mindful Based Stress Reduction as well as gone through Mindful Education Training. She is certified in nutrition, herbal remedies and organic cooking and gardening through The Institute for Sustainable Nutrition. Through the union of those modalities, Rona has created and is currently presenting staff development that merges the concepts of behavior management that are based on principles of ABA and self care based on the principles of Mindfulness and meditation. Rona is the Founder of Intuitive Arts, which was developed to support people in enriching their lives through the integration of body, mind, and spirit. She currently teaches classes both remotely and live. She has a line of organic body care products which are used to support meditation, balance, relaxation and/or energizing.

Janis Krempa

Janis Krempa became a BCBA in 2003. Janis has practiced ABA in many settings, including school, home, and community-based consultation for kids and adults on the autism spectrum and other developmental disorders. Her experiences with early intervention through young adulthood have informed her perspective- and continues to strive to "ask the right questions" to provide top-quality teaching, support, and collaboration. She co-authored “Social Sills Solutions: A Hans-On Manual for Teaching Social Skills to Children with Autism” which has become a touchstone resource in teaching social skills to children with autism. Janis is currently working on 2023 updates to the SSS book including translations to Spanish, French and Portuguese. She is also working on short books for parents new to the diagnosis of ASD and also a BCBA Guide to Supervision. Janis teaches CEU professional development courses in the US & France. She is the owner of Building Steps Forward, a practice that focuses on building social skills, communication skills, self-advocacy and executive function support to young adults on the autism spectrum. Gary Carone MS LLP LMSW BCBA LBA is a Limited Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Masters Social Worker and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. He has practiced for the past 40 years and has specialized in helping people with developmental disabilities (including autism). He has also worked with and designed interventions for people with anxiety, panic, chronic stress and depression. Mr. Carone was the founder and past President of PsychSystems P.C., a behavioral health practice that helped people throughout Michigan and Northwestern Ohio from 2001- 2018. Mr. Carone has also been on the faculty at Purdue Global and is currently on the faculty of the ABA Graduate Program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Currently, Mr. Carone is a consultant, teacher, practicum supervisor and trainer through his company Human Services Solutions LLC. Miriam Yankelewitz: Miriam Yankelewitz, BCBA, LBA has been working in the field of behavior analysis since 2013. She is responsible for the training and supervision process for the behavior technicians, RBTs, and BCBA trainees at Brainbuilders. Ashley Carrigan

Ashley Carrigan is a board-certified behavior analyst with 11+ years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan, mainly with children diagnosed with disabilities between the ages of 0-19. She received her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from TCSPP: Los Angeles and she is currently completing her dissertation research toward a Doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis at TCSPP: Online. She’s currently employed working at Achievements ABA Therapy, LLC in Atlanta, GA as a Director of Training & Development and as an Assessment Specialist, while also carrying a small caseload as a BCBA providing oversight and direction for clients and families receiving ABA services in-home. Ashley also owns a consulting company called Center for Young Minds Behavior & Learning, LLC (CYMBL), providing various consulting services. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband of 8 years and three children, ages 6 (girl) and 18-month twins (boy/girl). Her hobbies include activities such as reading, yoga, walking, trying new foods/restaurants, and watching movies/TV shows with her family.

Veronica Glickman
Veronica Glickman, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Autism, Behavioral & Educational Services, Inc. (ABES), has dedicated her professional career to working with kids and adults with autism and their families. Veronica began working with the adult population as an undergraduate student at Adelphi University in Long Island, NY, while working toward her Psychology degree by providing vocational training and placement. Since that time, Veronica earned: a Master of Arts Degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Hartford; a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University; and a Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Veronica’s experience spans from early childhood (18 months) through adulthood. She has created and supervised in-home and clinic-based ABA programs across the country, set up classrooms, trained professionals, and was an administrator in a therapeutic day school. Veronica also mentors and supervises students studying applied behavior analysis. Veronica’s twenty-year-plus tenure spans across four states: New York, Connecticut, California and Illinois. Upon diagnosing and recommending behavior analytic services in Illinois, Veronica found that there was a lack of service providers and ABES, Inc. was born. Veronica has been invited to speak on many radio talk shows regarding autism awareness and autism and safety. Recently, she co-authored a chapter named Inclusion is a Matter of Life and Death. She is on the board of several organizations including the September 26th project, Code the Spectrum and KindandSafe schools anti-bullying program. She helped found a school for middle school & high school children on the Autism Spectrum: New Vista School as well as a sports league for children with autism: Spirit League. She was on the Autism Spectrum Taskforce Created by Senator Correa from 2004-2006. Kelly has spent her career working and supporting families, children, schools and therapists on best practice, evidence-based services with a goal from moving from 1:1 learning to group learning. She is experienced in understanding and working with severe/profound autism. Sara L. Stern

Sara L. Stern is a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of NY. Completing her coursework through Penn State University, she has been a BCBA for close to 12 years, and has utilized her expertise and experience in many varied roles. Sara L. has been clinical director and provided services for a number of agencies, and is called upon to consult regularly. She presents trainings and webinars on a variety of topics, and currently lectures as an adjunct professor at Manhattanville’s ABA program as well as for the College of Mount St Vincent’s Special Ed Masters program. Sara L. has provided supervision for those going for their BCBA and provides mentorship to new BCBAs as well.

Sarah Schwartz

Sarah Schwartz is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst as well as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of NY. She received her Masters of Science degree in Special Education from Touro College and completed her coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. She has been working with children on the autism spectrum for close to 15 years.
Sarah began her training in an ABA center for children with autism where she
focused on discreet trial training, social skills training, and mainstreaming children into local schools and camps. She has worked to create behavior plans for special
education classes, mainstream classes and home settings. She is currently supervising
cases involving children with ASD as well other developmental disabilities.

Chani Weissmandl

After earning her master’s degree in special education Chani worked for seven years in the preschool in Kiryas Joel Public School in Monroe, N.Y. She started off as a special education teacher, became a BCBA and created “The ABA Center” where mainstreamed students would go to learn social, ADL and communication skills. During this time, Chani also worked for different agencies, gaining valuable experience supervising RBTs and BCBAs in training. After working as a BCBA in Kiryas Joel Public School for seven years, Chani was promoted to assistant principal. She was in a unique position of being able to use her years as a BCBA to guide her staff not only with academic issues but with behavioral issues as well. Chani brings to the table years of experience as a supervisor both through agencies and in a school environment.

Timothy Folley

Tim was born in NH, grew up in MA, met his wife in VT, and they're raising their 3 boys in ME. He earned his Masters in Ed Psych from the University of Southern Maine in 2014. Tim worked mostly with children who were diagnosed with Autism but presented more like Trauma and Attachment Disorders. In 2017 he was diagnosed with PTSD as a result of childhood trauma. Tim had the opportunity to work through his PTSD symptoms from a Behavior Analytic perspective. There were LOTS of questions about how the process worked. In 2019 he moved into working with the Brain Injury population and realized that this Trauma and Attachment stuff was very relevant in Brain Injury. Tim looks forward to sharing his experiences with other Behavior Analysts in an effort to inform their practices with a different lens.
